A/Prof Nicole Goh is a highly experienced Respiratory and Sleep Physician and a graduate of The University of Melbourne. She completed her specialist training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Austin Hospital before undertaking further advanced training at the internationally renowned Royal Brompton Hospital in London. Nicole subsequently completed her PhD at Imperial College London, focusing on the prognostic evaluation of interstitial lung disease associated with systemic sclerosis.

Nicole currently works as a Respiratory and Sleep Physician at both Austin Health and The Alfred. While she manages the full spectrum of respiratory and sleep disorders, she has a particular expertise in interstitial lung diseases (ILD) and serves as Director of the Interstitial Lung Disease Service at Austin Health. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care and supporting patients with both common and complex respiratory conditions.

Alongside her clinical work, Nicole is actively involved in research, education and clinical leadership. Her research focuses on improving quality of life for patients with interstitial lung disease, including the role of pulmonary rehabilitation and supplementary oxygen therapy. She serves on the Steering Committee of the National Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) Registry and collaborates closely with the Australian Scleroderma Interest Group (ASIG). She is also Chair of the Institute for Breathing and Sleep (IBAS) Medical and Scientific Research Committee and Chair of the Pulmonary Interstitial Vascular Organisational Taskforce (PIVOT).
